No New Posts Men's Open

The Men's Open this year will have 17 teams. This is a tough number to work with but playing 8 games on Tues and 8 game on Thurs will give 16 teams 2 games but in order to give the 17th team one game, one of the remaining 16 will play 3 games that week. This extra game will be Mondays at 5:45pm. In other words, there are no off weeks this year, one team will play 3 games once during the year and one team will play one game once during the year for a given week.

No New Posts Men's Rec

The Men's rec division will have 19 teams this year. Once again, a very tough number to work with however it does allow each to play 2 games per week. As outlined in a previous email, games will be spread over Sunday, Monday and Wednesday. Each team will get two games per week but on occassion, these two games will be spread over two nights. We will also make use of Conway Glenn or Airport Heights this year but teams will play there once every 7 weeks.

The coed league has 9 teams this year which means games will start at 4:30pm on Sundays. Each night will have 5 games with one team playing two games.

The Playtime Sports Fall Classic will be the weekend of Sept 14-16. A maximum of 18 teams will be accepted, registration will be $275. Each team will play three round robin games and then all 18 will be ranked from 1-18 creating two divisions of 9. The prizes will be cash based on the following breakdown.

1. Win your qrt final game: $70 A, $60 B.
2. Win your semi final game: $140 A, $120 B.
3. Win the Champ: $600 A, $460 B.

The total prize payout is $2100. As mentioned, only 18 teams will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. League, Super Series, and Provincials will be used to rank the teams. If less than 18 teams register, the prize pot will be adjust accordingly.
